How long can a battery last? What is the international standard?

The actual use time of the battery is related to the type of hearing aid, gain, hearing loss, climate, and the volume adjusted during use. The difference is very large. Generally speaking, the larger the battery used for hearing aid, the smaller the hearing loss and the longer the use time. 675 batteries are generally used for 6-30 days, most of which are used for 15-20 days;

Type 312 batteries are generally used for 6-10 days, and most of them are used for 6-8 days;

Type 13 batteries are generally used for 6-15 days, most of which are used for 7-10 days;

Type 10 batteries are generally used for 5-10 days, and most of them are used for 5-7 days.

You may have just removed the tape or the battery temperature is too low. When the air inlet of the battery leaves the factory, it has been pasted with adhesive paper. At this time, the battery is in a dormant state. After the adhesive paper is removed, the battery is gradually activated a few minutes later. In addition, in the cold season in the north, the battery just brought back from the outdoor needs to be used after the temperature rises to room temperature due to its low temperature.

Zinc air battery is easy to be affected by the environment, the best humidity is about 60%, too dry or too wet will shorten the use time. When it is wet in summer or rainy season, open the battery compartment every night and put the battery and hearing aid into the drying box together. Under normal or dry conditions, do not put the battery in the drying box at night to avoid excessive drying. If it is not used for a long time, the battery must be taken out because the air will enter the battery and gradually affect the battery performance, or even cause leakage.
