According to the opinion, the rehabilitation assistance for disabled children is targeted at the disabled children who are 0-6 years old, such as children with vision, hearing, speech, body and intelligence, and children with autism, including the disabled children in urban and rural families with low living security, families with poverty-stricken families and children’s welfare institutions; the disabled orphans and the disabled children included in the support scope of the extremely poor Children; disabled children in other economically disadvantaged families. Where conditions permit, the age range of rehabilitation assistance for disabled children can be expanded, and the restrictions on the economic conditions of the families to be rescued can also be relaxed.
The rescue contents include operation, auxiliary equipment configuration and rehabilitation training with the main purpose of reducing dysfunction, improving functional status, enhancing self-care and social participation.

1. For the rehabilitation assistance of disabled children, the guardian of the disabled children shall apply to the disabled children’s Federation at the county level where the disabled children’s household registration is located (where the residence permit is issued); < br >
2. The guardian of disabled children can entrust others, social organizations, social assistance agencies, etc. to apply for it.
The disabled children’s guardians shall choose the designated rehabilitation institutions to receive rehabilitation services independently for the eligible rescue objects approved by the County disabled persons’ Federation; < br >

The compliance expenses incurred in the designated rehabilitation institutions shall be settled directly by the financial department at the same level and the designated rehabilitation institutions; with the consent of the County disabled persons’ Federation, disabled children can also receive rehabilitation services in the non designated rehabilitation institutions.
